HOTEL POLICIES

We are excited you have chosen the historic Mayo Hotel for your upcoming stay in Downtown Tulsa! Our iconic, independent boutique hotel is Downtown’s one stop shop for a luxurious and memorable experience that will have you coming back for more!

In order to provide a flawless experience, we ask for your understanding and compliance with all hotel policies stated below:

 

EVENTS, PARTIES, & PHOTOGRAPHY

We reserve the right to maintain our brand standards in all public spaces, hotel rooms, and events spaces.  All parties, gatherings, photography, ceremonies, music, lighting, decorations, and events of any kind, are prohibited in all public spaces, hotel rooms, and event spaces, unless pre-approved by Hotel Management.  Hotel room parties are not permitted at any time and are strictly enforced.  The maximum number of guests allowed to spend the night in a hotel room is four adults and the maximum number of occupants allowed in a hotel room is six persons.  Loud music and disruptive noise is not allowed.  Quiet hours start at 10pm nightly.  Failure to comply will result in a cancellation of the reservation without a refund. 

 

CHECK-IN POLICY

Check-in time is 4:00pm and checkout time is 12:00pm

The Mayo Hotel does not accept cash at check-in.  Cash may be accepted upon-checkout if a debit/credit card has been authorized for the full amount at check-in.

 

Guests must be 21 years of age or older and must present both a valid ID and debit/credit card to check-in.  The name on the ID must match the name on the reservation and also match the name on the debit/credit card presented to the front desk.  If the debit/credit card will not be presented at check-in, the credit card authorization form must be requested, submitted, and approved via stay@themayohotel.com, 72 hours prior to check-in time.  Upon check-in, The Mayo Hotel will authorize the presented debit/credit card for room rent, tax, and a security deposit of $80 per night.  Upon checkout, the authorization will be reversed and the authorization will fall off the account within 3 – 7 business days.  The Mayo Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards in order to check card validity.

 

 

RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS OR MODIFICATIONS

Pre-paid nonrefundable reservations are paid at the time of booking and are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and non-negotiable.  All other reservations booked directly with the Mayo Hotel, may be cancelled 24 hours prior to check-in time without penalty.  Third party cancellation policies may differ.  If the reservation has been booked through a third party, the reservation must be cancelled or modified directly with the third party.  If reservations are cancelled past the 24 hour cancellation policy, these reservations will incur a late-cancellation fee of the first night’s room rent and tax.  A no show charge is the first night’s room rent and tax.

 

NON-SMOKING, NO PETS ALLOWED, & EXCESSIVE CLEANING FEES

The Mayo Hotel is completely non-smoking.  Should anyone decide to smoke in the hotel, a fee of $250 will be charged and the guest’s reservation will be cancelled without a refund. No pets are allowed in our hotel rooms.  For guests who decide to allow a pet or pets into their hotel room, a fee of $250 will be charged and the guest’s reservation will be cancelled without a refund.  A $250 excessive cleaning fee will be charged for any excessive cleaning to the hotel room or hotel spaces.

 

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

Outside alcoholic beverages of any kind are not permitted at the Mayo Hotel.  We reserve the right to confiscate any outside alcoholic beverages and cancel any reservations for guests who do not comply. 

 

LOST AND FOUND DEPARTMENT

The Mayo Hotel is not responsible for any items left on property.  All guests or patrons must email lost@themayohotel.com in order to inquire about any items left on property.  Lost and found items are held for 30 days and any unclaimed items are then donated.

 

PARKING

The Mayo Hotel offers valet parking only. Overnight valet is $25 per night and day parking is $10 per day.  For guests who do not wish to use valet service but would like to self-park in the garage, the fee is the same at $25 for overnight parking and $10 for day parking.  Guests who use valet service and who are assigned a valet ticket, will be charged for every night on their stay.  Guests who will only use valet service for specific nights must communicate this to front desk.

 

OTHER POLICIES

The Mayo Hotel will honor the rate at the time of booking for all reservations.  Guests who checkout earlier than the scheduled departure date, will be charged a fee of $50 per night until the scheduled departure date arrives.  No roll-a-way beds are available for any of the hotel rooms.  Checkout is noon and strictly enforced.  Any guests who occupy the room after checkout time may be charged late checkout fees or an additional night’s room rent and tax.  The Mayo Hotel may offer late checkouts at additional costs based on occupancy and business levels.  Late-checkouts at 3pm or later will incur a charge of an additional night room rent and tax.  The Mayo Hotel may offer early check-in fees for guests who wish to check-in before 4pm.
